Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I bought it to listen to music on a more or less decent smartphone for these purposes (Sony Xperia Z) with subsequent use in the profession of a sound engineer. I chose between them and the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, but by the time of purchase (November 2022), the latter could no longer be found at the pre-crisis price, so I couldn’t put an end to the dispute between these models for the title of the best inexpensive monitoring headphones)) I can’t say anything about the risk of running into a fake, but just in case I took it in a store with an official manufacturer’s guarantee

Pros

Expand the very concept of monitoring. Now you can monitor not only music, but the entire playback path, I personally never had any doubts that the headphones change the sound of the composition at least one iota. All exclamations about the shortcomings in the sound can be answered with the words: "These are headphones, not studio monitors." Only the lazy did not write about a flat frequency response, the purpose of the headphones obliges. Design for the ages, absolutely nothing superfluous, only a list of spare parts numbers with an assembly diagram turned out to be superfluous in the package, it is unlikely that in the glamorous Sony office they will deal with such unprofitable things as ordering a part from the factory. Yes, and there is nothing to break here (even with not very careful use, read about very careless use below)

Cons

The native connector did not survive the fall of the phone (unlike the phone itself), so I had to solder the corner Neutrik, but it’s a sin to complain about Sony)) We are constantly worried about protruding wires between the cups and the headband, but this decision is justified by simplicity and maintainability. The material of the ear pads is not very pleasant to the touch and wear-resistant, but this problem is easily solved by ordering velor or leather ones on a well-known site. Sooner or later, the metal clips on the headband will be erased, but reluctantly, you can survive this, or, in extreme cases, do not crawl with them at every opportunity. Not recommended for audiophiles, you can get a sharp disappointment from your favorite music.
