I was skeptical before getting and using this lamp. Of course, use an Epson product and know that it will provide over 4000 hours of reliable service. Go for less than a third of the price and don't expect anything. Poor brightness and durability. In this case you will be surprised. I bought 2 just in case but luckily for me the 2nd lamp is waiting for the 1st to die. At the moment the brightness is 90% normal, despite slow heating, which means good light even in a daylight room, and the number of hours of use has exceeded all expectations. So, great value for money.
