My prescription varifocals no longer work. I wear fairly strong glasses and these glasses don't fit my prescription but I bought the largest, 3.50, and surprisingly they actually work better than my expensive prescription glasses. You'll be fine until I get to the optometrist and update the prescription. They're probably not as strong as my actual glasses, but I like that I can actually see better with them than with my other glasses. I actually need my glasses for seeing, not just for reading, so if you only need them for reading, they're great! I recommend them.
