Absolutely yes: my assessment
My son is a solid 60 lbs 5 year old. Sixes fit him and he's lived in them since I got them. He always wants to wear his "soft pants," so it's safe to say he'll need some of them. True to size and perfect base

- Wash cute and durable pants in cold water only!
Cons
- The pants move too much, which prevents the child from playing comfortably.
