I have used this attachment to temporarily hold my CNC machine and it works as advertised. As others have commented, the bit created a notch that was wider than expected, but it works and is important to this project. This is with a 1/4" shank then I would use a table saw or flat bottom router to clean out the channel before using this drill bit.
