Review on Tigar Ultra High Performance 245/40 R17 95W summer by Wiktor Stpie ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm happy with it, the price and the quality, I recommend to buy it.

I bought a car in September in the Crimea on this rubber with a run per season. Traveled all over the Crimea, the South and home to Hong Kong. Dashed almost 6 t. Km. for 3 weeks (80% highway, 20% city), the temperature for the trip varied from + 38g to -5g. The rubber is very quiet, no matter what you write, soft - it swallows bumps with a bang. For the whole trip, not a single hernia, I was very surprised, because. continuous repairs all the way, I flew into such hard pits, and the disk crushed a little and I don’t care about the rubber. It seemed not a very good hook, it grinds up to the third, but perhaps this is due to a rather powerful car, but it does not whistle at all. It performs well in all temperature ranges. When I arrived, I put the car on hold until January, I went to change shoes already below -30g, it was not hard rubber. It holds the road confidently on the highway, Hong Kong-NSK 180-230 all the way at near zero temperatures, the behavior is predictable, but it hits the steering wheel when braking (I believe that the balance has been lost due to internal wear of the tire associated with collapse), in a rut this rubber has no surprises did not bring, despite the profile, very comfortable. For civilian driving a great option, especially for the price. Somewhere I found information from the Japanese that the rubber starts to work only from 235mm wide, and there you can draw conclusions about tires, and so an ordinary layman who does not pile on corners and moderate speed along the highway especially will not notice the difference between a famous brand and a cheap one Chinese. For this season, I bought an ancient Yoko avs sport for combat riding, I’ll compare it for a ride.

Pros
  • - Very light. Size 245 / 45R18 weight after the season 9.7 kg (error 50-100g), somewhere in the net I came across a weight in this dimension of 13.7 kg. that's a lie. Due to weight - reduction in unsprung mass, increased suspension survivability, easier acceleration due to the moment of inertia (with the same wheel weight and size with heavy rubber and a light disk, this effect would not have happened) - Quiet - Auto fuel efficiency - Resistant to hernias - does not whistle at all - does not dube even at -30gr - does not feel the rut
Cons
  • - At a speed of 200-230 when braking, it hits the steering wheel, starts to "swim" - fast wear - not a very good grip
