I have installed several Curt harnesses and have always had good luck with them. Much better than the old way of splicing. Here are some tips. First, I don't like crimp connectors. I've seen too many fall apart I solder all the connections and seal them with shrink tubing. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but I've never had a solder joint fall off. Second, the double sided tape they give is not the best quality. Take a roll of 3M Heavy Duty Mounting Tape and it will stick snugly. Third. I cover all my wires with black wire/tube to protect them.
