This chick bib is smaller than some of the other full coverage bibs I have. It will be more suitable for a younger child. Alternatively, it offers more protection than a regular bib. But when the baby eats, they get bigger. I wish this bib was bigger for longer use. The material is excellent for protecting clothing. It protects most of the front and shoulder area. If the child wears long sleeves, they are still vulnerable to food debris because the sleeves are short. The chick is just precious. It's a really cute print and the material is very good quality. It is closed with a soft Velcro in the neck. It fits well and is easy to make. I prefer this velcro to drawstring bibs. Climb and launch much faster. Plus, you don't have to worry about the knots becoming too tight.
