Hands and most forearms are now well protected!

These gloves are called liquid silicone and they look really different. It's a super shiny silicone that I've never seen before. I was a bit hesitant to try them, but they work great for use with any deeper cookware, such as. a pressure cooker (which is non-pressurized but still very hot), a kettle to make your favorite brew, or a deep pot on the stovetop that requires a lot of stirring. They are true to size. Mine says a size 8 and they feel exactly like a size 8. I actually wear 6-7 but they work. The fingers are a bit long, but that's not a problem. They line up beautifully and feel really good! Fingers are crucial for dexterity in the kitchen. I have an 8 liter electric pressure cooker and cook a lot in the pot. There's always steam and I always have a hard time getting a plate of oven mitts without burning myself. I looked at these silicone bands but they weren't big enough for my tall bowl that I often put in there. I also have trouble getting anything out of the rack in the pressure cooker (watch the video to see how easy it is now!). My rack has lifting loops on the side, but they are usually very hot and the wires are thin and cumbersome. These gloves help a lot!
