These are very nice bowls, wide and somewhat shallow - perfect for noodles or other "Bowl" presentations (as seen in the book "Bowls" by America's Test Kitchen). They are sturdy and have a nice weight to them. They nest together relatively tightly for compact storage, and the lips are separated from each other so they're easy to unstack. They work well for a serving dish or a personal portion. I'm a HUGE fan of these for pho or ramen or pasta! They are very nicely packed in a foam box, with foam separators and a nice little handle made of cling wrap to allow you to lif tthem out of the box. Great attention to detail that suggests they take their quality and process very seriously.
