This kit is very good and costs <$50, well worth it. I installed it on my Honda VFR during my winter break and I should have done it sooner. It took a while to install simply because I had also installed a custom fuse box with relays and had no idea what I was doing. Shortly after installation, I took my bike for a test ride in temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit and the kit worked perfectly (it even dropped to 37 degrees in Southern California). Unfortunately, since it's connected to the battery (but only turns on when the bike is on thanks to the relay), you don't want to leave it on while the bike is idling. This will drain your battery pretty quickly within minutes unless your bike is moving and your stator is charging the battery. After installation I tested the knobs in my garage on high settings and it quickly drained my battery and my bike died. I couldn't restart it until I charged the battery. A few notes: 1. The kit includes a large shrink tube for the metal rods on the clutch side (needs to be cut depending on the application) and a short shrink tube for the switch wiring. The bracket for the switch is very convenient as it is included in the kit. It came with an M6 screw that I attached to the turn signal bracket so I didn't have to drill holes in the plastic to install the switch.3. As some reviewers have mentioned, the high settings are pretty hot, but they work great at 37 degrees Fahrenheit. To make this kit perfect I would include a small tube of high temp grip glue. I ended up using a JB weld (since I had those and the shops were closed) in addition to the old school hairspray trick to attach the grips to the steering wheel. The hairspray definitely made it easier to slide the grips back onto the handlebars.
