I love this makeup brush cleaner! About 6 months ago I bought a mini version of this Sephora brand, much smaller but a solid white soap dish and also with a pink rubber nozzle for cleaning makeup tools. Just to be clear, I don't wear a lot of makeup. In total I use all 5 makeup brushes and that's it. With the mini version of Sephora, the stripe disappeared for me so quickly, and not only because it was a lot smaller, but also because you just needed a lot more soap. Also, the pink rubber piece doesn't have the part that makes it stick to anything other than this one. I love what this one does, stick it on the inside of the top screw cap, wet your brushes, lather them with a bar of soap and run them all over the pink object, adding water if needed and rinsing out. Interest until the water runs clear then continue the tonbruah, if you are under the water a little longer make sure all the soap is removed. You can tell that when it's not an hour, the brushes look wet and parted (like unwashed, greasy hair? Phew, I know). With the Sephora brand, I felt like I had trouble getting the soap off my brushes and then I never came across as completely clean. But the others are my firsts, so I have nothing to compare. But with it, my brushes look and feel BRAND NEW! I can't believe how soft, smooth and clean they are! And it dries almost instantly! I shake off the excess water, then take a freshly laundered towel and dry them off with that, then a paper towel and that's it! If necessary, I can use them immediately. So amazing. And it's a much bigger bar of soap than I thought it would be. Not paid or asked to write this review I just really love this product! worth your money!
