Review on Wall Cable Pass Through Port by Chef Buntiloy

This is a great solution for running some cables through the wall (where there is room for them). I could easily find a spot in the wall to put the pass through. There are two tricky parts to installing: lining up the holes on either side and attaching the two pieces together. I decided to do the alignment by first drilling a hole in one side and then using that hole to drill a pilot hole in the other wall from the inside. I found that it was easier to judge if I had placed the drill bit correctly for the second hole if I placed half of the through pipe in the first hole. Screwing two parts together is trivial if you have two people. However, I found that if I taped one side of the wall together, I could twist the pieces together on the other side of the wall and easily tighten them fairly tightly. This device may or may not be acceptable under electrical codes. In addition, it was easy to install and very neat to solve the problem.
