It requires a little knowledge to know how to use. For example, you can't put a gyoza on top of a maker and stack it. You need to fill the gyoza, then fold it and then put it in the teapot. Otherwise the wrapper will stick to the dumpling machine. This is good as you can cut the wrappers to the right size, but if you have a large filling this won't work as the machine won't cut it. Also, if you fill too much, you'll have trouble getting the dumplings out of the dumplings (if you add too many dumplings, they'll come out the back, and then if you open them too quickly, the dumpling machine may cut the dumplings). .Overall it's good and I will use it again. BUT I will also be spending more time learning how to make my own by hand!
