I wish this would work as I was planning on replacing my chain last weekend. I installed it, tightened it and started twisting the pin. I heard some pops which I assumed was the pin moving. I checked to make sure everything was aligned and continued tightening. The first thing that was given away was the body and the whole thing broke in half and the top half and spring unceremoniously fell onto my garage floor. Now the tool is on the chain, so I'm in a worse position than before. I took an old tile cutter from the basement and sawed through the chain to remove it. Now I don't know how to remove the tool from the chain to send it back. Should I send you the whole chain or just the broken top half? Like I said, I wish it would work, but unfortunately it didn't.
