I've been grilling meat without a thermometer for ages and get good results. However, using MEATER takes the guesswork out and delivers consistently, and I'll admit, better results every time. It's very easy to set up and incredibly intuitive to use. From downloading the app to cooking, it's easily done in less than 5 minutes. I'm consistently getting at least 25 feet of range when using the probe on my grill. This works fine for my use. If you go too far, the app will also tell you that you're no longer connected to the network, so you can get back within range before the cooking is complete. From the app to the charging station you can leave on the fridge to the easy to clean probe, this is a very well designed product.
