I am giving 5 stars because based on the reviews I got almost what I expected. I've attached a picture to show what you actually get (note the Nespresso pod size - because my little pots are tiny) because a pound of stone isn't as much as some people expect. That's really about 1.5 cups of Stein MAX. These are beautifully colored stones and would look great used as artificial plant beds etc or for any other purpose that is DRY. These breeds are colored and not colorfast. They will bleed and fall into the water if you just put them in a vase or aquarium. So if this is your intended goal, save yourself the frustration and buy another product. Again I gave 5 stars because they are perfect for what I need them for. The colors are rich and bright, the stones are well polished and shiny (perhaps the plating too). They are slightly larger than described. No chips, but small pebbles. Overall a great product for the price - you won't get a pound bag of semi-precious stones for less than $15 no matter what it contains. So if you have realistic expectations, you will definitely be very satisfied. Pros: Lots of bright, vibrant colors and bigger than just rock chips: Cons: Clearly dead and plated to look like semi-precious stones and a bit pricey for the crowd. you will receive (about 1.5 cups maximum).
