Review on Upgrade Your Styling Tool with Olivia Garden Ceramic Ion Large Brush by Barbara Lopes

Incredibly disappointed with the vented brush

I have 3 1/2 foot thick wavy hair and I take my hairbrushes very seriously. I usually buy cheaper brushes that I know from personal experience work well. This time I decided to try something new and I thought for $20 it must be very good. Unfortunately not true. This whole brush is cheap plastic. The bristles and hair clipping tool (which was a big plus for me because I thought it would be really cool to have one built into the brush) look like the metal in the promotional photos, but they're just cheap plastic. And when I say cheap, think 99 cent cheap Halloween props. How to use disposable cheap once. This is not the quality I would expect from a $20 comb. Also, the brush itself just doesn't work well, catching every little tangle in my hair and frankly it hurts. At most I would give it a few brushes before the cheap brittle bristles start to break and bend. I love the design but better materials would really make this a great hair tool but unfortunately that's not the case. 2 stars for great design with inferior materials and workmanship.
