Maybe I'm just using them wrong, but they're definitely NOT as noise-cancelling as my Apple AirPod Pros. I set it to maximum, the battery is fine and I can still hear background noise. While I occasionally use my headphones and AirPods for music, I typically prefer to use them with no noise or with subtle white noise from the app just to drown out everyday noises while studying in our small space. As I write this, I'm sitting at my kitchen table with noise cancellation on high and white noise on quite high and I can hear my husband chopping veggies and I can hear a bit of Alexa playing her Bon Jovi playlist and my kids talking. I can usually just plug in my AirPod Pros with no white noise or music and hear almost nothing. I was just hoping to find a comfortable pair of standard headphones (no earbuds) for comfortable prolonged use (and the headphones told my family from afar that I couldn't hear them). OK. I'll keep trying until I'm closer to the "return date" but so far I'm definitely disappointed with this set.
