Capezio Canvas Dansneaker Shoes are my favorite indoor dance class, both the ones I teach and the ones I attend. I have tried several brands and different styles and Capezio are my favourites. I only go around 0.5 for these Dansneaker sneakers - I usually wear 9, buy 9.5 for this style. I have a large lump on my right foot and the canvas sneakers don't have any hard strips of material in that area of the foot. The canvas stretches there as needed without giving up the support of the shoe. Also, my students say they see white shoes better when I'm on stage, but white shoes get dirty VERY quickly. I pre-treat these shoes before wearing them and after each wash with a textile protector, treat stains with a stain remover and can simply throw them in the washing machine with a mild detergent on a gentle setting. I put them in the sun to dry and they have held up very well. I'm sure Capezio would tell me I'm shortening the life of my boots, but I can live with that for keeping them clean! Now I have two pairs of white and black sneakers and I will not hesitate to replace them with the same shoes if necessary.
