My induction torch failed the first time I used it1
I used this adapter to connect a burner to a pot that was too small for an induction hob. When I first used it, I set it to power level 8 to heat the water. After a few minutes the block started smoking and I quickly removed it. Any coating on the adapter left scratches on the adapter itself AND on the induction torch! I tried removing it without scratching the glass but to no avail. This was a terrible purchase that could cost me a brand new hob!
