I have been using BodyGlide for chafing for over ten years. It works great but I hate the smell of it. I heard good things about Blue Steel so I decided to give it a try. It's everything I hoped for. Eliminates hip irritation, armpit irritation and everything else I've used. It smells like menthol and is fresh, so if you smell it while running, it's not unpleasant. Even if your skin is sensitive or slightly damaged from previous rubbing, it won't burn or irritate at all - it's very mild. I've used it for long runs of 16 miles and it has never let me down.
