I live in a HOA that has 29 septic tanks that have not been serviced in years. Unfortunately we have a septic tank but city water, no wells. The water in the city is chlorinated, which the bugs in the tank don't appreciate! A local contractor sold us a VERY expensive liquid product that we could never afford to use on a regular basis. I found Green Pig and based on the reviews and price I decided to give it a try. We have started a scheduled maintenance program with this product - we add a sachet to each tank every two months. When we open access to the tank we see a significant improvement in the color and appearance of the contents. Several problematic tanks have been greatly improved. We are very happy with the Green Pig value for money.
