I was very surprised to see how easily the sockets can be detached from the holder and how easily they can be moved horizontally. I wish my large set of socket holders were just as well made. I have 3 large shelves of sockets, about 3 rows in each holder, and I had to use pliers to remove the sockets from the plastic holder attached to the socket holder. Every time this happens I tend to use strong words! No, they hold sockets that just won't let go! This holder is very well designed. Very easy to use, even in metal. Very well designed.
