They work well with the plastic lenses I have. There doesn't appear to be any scratches and they can deal with smudges and anything else that gets on my lenses during my travels. sometimes with a second napkin, but that's actually rather rare. I got the spray and microfiber cloth from the store where I bought the glasses and while it works well (maybe the same as those cloths, sometimes not as well) I found the cloth gets dirty easily, the Spray once leaked from the bottle during a trip, and actually having a spray bottle on hand during a flight is a problem. These wipes are not liquid in a bottle, so they can easily be carried through airport security. I often carry one with me and a few in my travel gear for added visibility when I'm away from home. A good product.
