This is my first drone test and to be honest I was so glad I bought one of the very good drones, the batteries are reliable but there is an issue with the software does not work properly with the hardware. As a beginner, read the instruction manual several times to make sure you understand the settings and how to fly the drone. When I set mine up out of the box and fully charged the batteries, I did a thorough inspection and found that my drone was either repaired or someone sent it back and mailed it to me as the battery compartment has scratches and light bulbs on the bottom. The drones were scratched but I tried trying and oh no the drone was able to hover about 3ft or so but then crashed sideways to the right due to right rear motor issues. Calibration was easy and quick. However, when I tried to land the drone a second time by pushing the lever, it would go full throttle and not stall, but eventually crashed after a few minutes. The camera is ok when showing 720p on your phone, not as sharp as 1080p. It can be fun if you can fly it, I sent it back due to problems with the drone itself and the software. I'd rather spend a little more money to find reputable drone manufacturers like the DJI Mavic and see if it works for me. Much luck.
