Review on 🦢 PS 25 Standby Foot by FastCap by Rod Evans

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The quality drops with every purchase!

Fine, distinct markings are clearly visible on the white blade. The built-in sharpener is always at hand. These aren't the strongest tapes, while easy to use at the store, but they're worth it (never trust a carpenter with tape they've had for "six years". In my view, all the tapes are disposable. I buy these six for once a year stock (Edit: they were given away with a warning or transferred for assembly. Accuracy is questionable so I stopped using them for carpentry.) I would have rated these 5 stars in the past. The last batch has however some quality issues. All have burrs/deformed tips that mess up the internal measurements. Also on the first section Fastcap stopped printing 32's due to customer feedback that it was confusing that I used 32's a lot and I did am I am disappointed that they have been removed Update: After using tapes from this new batch I have found that when measuring the Inside/outside dimensions are inaccurate. Something is wrong with the hook and/or the rivets you use to compensate for the hook strength. me where I have several Fastcap tools and am happy so far. No longer. Great tool ideas that are implemented poorly and cheaply end up being just cheap tools. I will avoid them in the future.
