After a month and a half of communication with this TV: 1. When standard 24 fps video is fed to any HDMI from any source, a monstrous input lag and a very noticeable Judder (judder and frame drop) appear - an ordinary movie in no matter what resolution turns into a random slideshow (including HDR). It doesn't matter what the signal source is. The only thing that saves me from this is the forced switching of the HDMI mode to "PC", but in this mode there are basically no image settings, it is impossible to select Filmmaker Mode or Cinema mode, and my eyes are leaking from such a movie screening. With 30 fps or 60 fps video, there are no such problems, but the vast majority of movie content is 23.976 fps and cannot be viewed from external HDMI inputs. All sharpness settings have been pierced 800 times with different variations - all to no purpose. In total, a Bluray movie with a home theater can be watched either in slow slideshow mode, or in the "blank" mode. I did not notice such problems with playback by built-in TV tools. Thus, for normal operation with this TV, an external HDMI device must be able to adjust its HDMI output to the frame rate of the content being played (AutoFrameRate function) - this is the only adequate way that I found. On older devices, you will have to manually set HDMI to 23 or 24 Hz. This TV simply doesn't have built-in AFR, which is the reason why it's impossible to play 24 frame movie in normal mode. 2. Broken HDMI-eARC setting. More precisely, turning it on leads to a complete shutdown of audio forwarding to the cinema through the return channel. It doesn’t matter what audio codec is in the video content, the TV tries to send DTHD to the home theater, which crashes after 2-3 seconds and switches to poor PCM. If you do not touch eARC, then in normal ARC it normally throws DD and DD +. In addition to Samsung's ditching DTS, this is a terrible blow to home moviegoers.
