We love our dog but now that we have a new baby in the house we need to keep him separate from the baby so he doesn't accidentally hurt her. He is very affectionate and always wants to be involved in everything we do, locking him in the bedroom just makes him bark and try to open the door (which he can do even if it's locked if he puts his mind to it, takes him with) . 20 minutes if it's locked and about 3 minutes if it's not locked) so we have this gate to lock him in the bedroom but let's watch him through the bars. Follow us and hear us clearly. The gate is strong, high enough to prevent bouncing and stays in place. The gate is easy to open for use. I highly recommend this gate. In addition, when our child grows up, we can use them as a children's gate.
