First of all I bought this flash drive to transfer files to/from Android phones. I plug it into my phone, go to settings to set up storage, it works for a few minutes then my phone reboots. This happens every time I try. I tried reformatting it on my computer and then connected to my phone. It seemed to work until I copied the file from my computer to a flash drive and then tried reading it again from my phone. Now it tells me that the drive is corrupt. The drive seems to work fine with Windows, but not at all with Android. Updates: I've never been able to get this flash drive to work reliably on my Android, but since it seemed to work on Windows, I decided to use it to transfer files from my laptop to my desktop. I foolishly "moved" files from my laptop to a flash drive, but when I then tried to open them from the flash drive (or copy them from the flash drive to the desktop), 95% of the Files damaged and lost. So angry and upset. i will return it
