It was easy to put together. Some of the holes did not line up but with a little muscle I got it to. Some of the edges where screw holes were are sharp. It does absorb water very easily. So make sure you wipe it off right away if you spill anything and don't put a plant on it incase the water leaks out. They burn easy also so don't put anything that is warm in it. The gold paint was chipped off and the metal bars were dent or bented in areas.
