I bought this set of 30 heavy duty stainless steel hangers for $32.90 (that's about $1.10 per hanger). I ended up buying a few more packs and replacing all the hangers in the house with them. You really categorized the cabinets. And they actually save a lot of space because they are thinner than traditional plastic hangers. They look great and are very unique in the household. In general, standard hangers are very thick and durable. They are large enough for XL men's clothing. For heavy winter coats and fluffy jackets, however, they should be a bit small in my opinion. Double-sided notches help keep clothes in place. The texture of the steel also seems to serve this purpose. The hinge has a small transparent cap or bar (I think it's rubber and plastic). This will prevent the hanger from rattling against the closet rod. It also protects the hanger and rod from scratches and allows them to slide smoothly across the surface. Another benefit: It prevents the end of the hanger hook from puncturing your hand! After a few months none of it broke or rusted. Sometimes I hang wet clothes on hangers; for example: delicate shirts. I prefer to dry them on a hanger to hang them from and then move them straight to the closet when dry. I won't bother changing hangers for this purpose. So I expect they won't rust. If I'm disappointed I'll definitely update this STAT review! Compared to the competition: The only similar hangers I've found at Revain (or anywhere else) are ZICOME stainless steel hangers. These hangers currently cost $16.90 for a set of 10, which is approximately $1.70 per hanger. Overall the shape is the same and both have a protective cap on the end of the hook, but they're about 0.5 inches wider and about the same height. Slightly stronger and more durable. Aesthetically I think they're fair as they're both cool and unique (stainless steel temples are rare to find, especially with notches). ZICOME hangers are higher quality but cost about 54% more than Sorplus hangers. I like both very much, but I use ZICOME hangers for big jackets. I would choose ZICOME. For small blouses, however, they are too big due to the larger width. I've found that Sorplus hangers work better for them. If you're looking for a simple place to store your clothes and want to maximize the value of your spend, I recommend Sorplus.
