I am more than happy with this worktop. It's a nice heavy weight, black on one side and beautiful mahogany on the other. I used it to replace a broken glass top on a small round dining table with wrought iron legs. The glass replacement plates were too expensive for me. It looks like a table in a Parisian cafe and to my surprise everyone likes and comments on it. Don't worry about breaking a glass table top anymore! The laminate looks better than expected. It scratched when wearing a heavy decoration piece with a rough underside, so I know about that now. But otherwise it wears well. That's what restaurants use. Washes up like a dream. Not colored. I would buy this again.
