Review on 🎶 The Original MASHTAPE: Retro Mixtape Design meets Cassette Tape USB Flash Drive 8GB by Brad Knierim

I LOVE this concept. I had a friend who was turning 40, so I decided to surprise her and make a copy of the mixtape that we used to listen to while driving in high school for her. I thought it would be great if she could put something like a mixtape in her car. The first problem started when I tried to connect it to my computer to download songs to it. The USB stick only goes in one direction (rotates or does not rotate). Since my laptop's slots were vertical, I had to place the laptop on my lap with part of the cartridge hanging in my lap. It was not possible to connect it when the laptop was on a table or desk. never mind But then my friend had the same problem when trying to connect it to her car. It is bulky and could not be plugged into the USB port in their car. I give it 5 stars for concept but 2 stars for practicality or ease of use. Maybe having the flash drive pop out of the cartridge instead of sticking to the hinge could work better. I know there are versions with a USB drive that slides out of the center of the cartridge and sold on Amazon. If I made another one I would definitely buy one of these.
