Just bought these for my 10 year old daughter and she loves them. Great fit and great looking shoe. On the 2nd day of wearing they were dirty and she got them dirty. I've rubbed them down with a washcloth and soap (like I've done on dozens of sneakers in the past) and didn't notice that wiping the writing faded and some of the letters came loose. Now I have a 10 year old girl who is unhappy because her mother ruined her new shoes. :(. She is so sad and I am sad that I tried to clean her but who would have thought?
