Bought to cut out some door handle inserts when I was doing some graphics on a car and it didn't work. I used to use a different brand for other work and although it was more of a brand that caused uneven cuts I bought 3m instead. I applied it to the panel, overlaid the graphic and heat gund the graphic onto the panel set before I drew the line. When I pulled the cord it cut through the vinyl but didn't cut straight. The line wasn't straight. This will probably work well with auto vinyl, which is thicker than cast vinyl and will probably give a better cut line, but don't be fooled it will give you razor sharp lines. I ended up phrasing this as a proponent of cutting vinyl with a razor to protect the razor from cutting into the paint. The gap between the two methods was day and night.
