Works well when calibrated

I’m running an Ender 3 V2 with a Micro Swiss NG Direct Drive extruder.Initially I had trouble with bed adhesion on a smooth pei sheet, trying to use the same PLA settings as I’ve used with other PLA’s. Specifically small parts didn’t want to stick. So far I’ve rectified that by having my first layer at 220, and the bed at 70. After the first layer I’m at 205 and 60 and most prints come out decent. My only qualms are that I can’t seem to get stringing mitigated like I can with Overture PLA. The best retraction settings I’ve found so far are .8mm retraction at 30mm/s which still leaves fuzz. At the end of the day it’s not bad, just not as good as other filaments I’ve used. The other qualm being the red pla is not nearly as vibrant as the pictures on the listing show. It’s certainly still red, but dull in comparison to what I expected.
