I've tried so many devices that should hold my phone in the car and all I can boast is a chewed up dashboard and wasted money. I chose this one because of the good reviews and the low price. I am very happy. Out of the box my first thought was that it's too light and plasticky to work with, but once assembled (very easily) and securely installed in a cup holder, it's quite sturdy. The neck moves in any direction, as does the swivel at the base of the phone, so it holds your phone at any angle you choose. The base adjusts well - can't imagine a cup holder wouldn't fit. The phone holder is the same. The sides snap into place, you slide your phone in and it snaps into place perfectly. I took it for a ride and it didn't move. I then uninstalled it and yes it is very easy to uninstall. I can't think of any downside. If you need something to hold your phone in your car, this is it.
