I made the switch from the Galaxy Note 8 to it. Prior to that, there was the Note 5, and before that, there was the Note 3, and before that, there was the Note 1. I consider this line to be the best on the market for people who require a smartphone for work. Because I frequently need to review and modify documents as well as make notes, having a big screen with a good picture and a pen at my disposal is really vital to me. I don't perceive a significant difference between the Note 9 and the Note 8, and if you already own one of these models and don't have extra money, you probably shouldn't rush into buying the Note 9, in my opinion. In any event, you should hold off purchasing this device until the release of the Note 20 in August. After that time, prices may drop on it, or some significant advantages may become clear. To everyone else, however, if you are interested in purchasing a strong smartphone that can be used for both work and play and that will continue to be useful for at least the next two to three years, it is highly recommended that you look into it further.
