My first (full) ink cartridge was quickly empty. He never printed the specified number of pages (600). My printer was set to print draft style, not quality, but I finished it sooner than I should have. Thankfully I don't type much, but I was disappointed that it didn't take long for the ink to run out before the program told me I was out of ink. Grrr. Angry camper. I spoke to HP about this and found that although their inkjet printer settings have a "draft" feature, that setting does not apply to the inkjet printer I have. Grrr again. If the cartridges weren't so expensive I wouldn't have resisted so much, but they are close if not as expensive as a new inkjet printer. Grrr for the third time. Despite the triple Grrr, I was impressed with the last cartridge I bought. Not sure if HP improved this or not, although I suspect they did because the last cartridge lasted quite a while. I'm not exactly sure which number was printed, but I can say I have a good idea and I was happy to see that the number was significant before the ink ran out. So it's entirely possible that I printed as many pages as HP claims. To smile. I am very happy with the latest results.
