They are soft to the touch, sit comfortably on the ears, they gave me a little more room on my face (although I have smaller features), they don't slip off my ears and they are quite breathable compared to the medical masks they come in Doctor's office. I've found that when I adjust the nosepiece to fit my nose PERFECTLY, it presses harder against my face, my inhalation and exhalation becomes clearer and gives it a puffy effect (if it comes out when you exhale) . also made it a little harder to breathe and less comfortable. I fixed this by widening the nose piece a bit more so that it rested on my nose instead of conforming to its structure and it reduced the compressed look as well as the puff effect and made it a little easier to breathe. Very beautiful and elegant design for her. This is a true black material, as opposed to the dark gray that companies advertise as black. I've only worn mine for a short time so I can't confirm breathability over the long term.
