My dog wore a loose Thunder shirt to discourage licking (yes, even with her daily Benedryl and food changes). This is Arizona and it's hot here so I ordered this for my 45lb whippet/greyhound mix and bought a LG 17" neck and 22" chest. It fits well, is a little loose and it's way cooler. She wears it 24/7 and I feel better because she's got a little bit of protection when she's out in the sun. A good product!
