First, I bought transparent shoe boxes from the same company. They should be identical, just darker. First of all, they are not darker, only the front and rear doors are black, the rest is "pure white”, which is very deceptive. I wanted a darker color to dim the lighting in the shoe storage areas. Second, these shoe boxes are significantly smaller. My big shoes are stuffed into these boxes. My men's size 12 fits easily in the original (3 orders back) clear shoeboxes with some room to cut out (see review). I thought it might just be me and the way I put my shoes in the box, NOT THAT, those shoe boxes are "smaller"! I've already swapped them out when they weren't black as seen in the picture just to get the same transparent ones. I've already started packing my shoes in them so I don't have to take the shoes out, open the boxes, put them back in the shipping box, and then take the box to the UPS store. What a problem! Very disappointed! Something is wrong with this company, I won't risk it again - I'm a sneakerhead so I have to get it right the first time. I do not recommend this company due to the discrepancy between the description and the size of the shoe boxes.
