Review on Edwin Jagger Double Safety Razor by Jake Yap

I dared and decided to try a safety razor. I chose this one based on the reviews and the color. I used to only use disposable razors and electric razors, and I never got a good enough shave with electric razors. I have always had very bad burns from disposable razors and have even spoken to my dermatologist about them many times. I had to buy a special prescription lotion for years and the razor burns on my legs were still bad (but bearable, with less pain). My hair grows very quickly and I have to shave my legs every day to keep them smooth, but razor cuts have always been a problem. I thought there was nothing to be done. Until I read about razors and safety razors. Even then, I figured it wouldn't make much of a difference. I was wrong! Thank God. This razor left no shaving marks on my legs! I went very slowly and watched a few videos on how to do it without cutting myself. I only had a tiny cut on my foot while using this (and that was after I was almost done) - and I only felt it when applying the lotion (the sting lasted about 2 seconds). I can't say enough about how excited I am. to have a razor that doesn't cause painful burns on my overly sensitive skin. I would give 5 stars if the handle was longer. It's a bit short for me - I can't use this razor in the shower and I have to sit on the edge of the tub to get this razor on my ankles. It takes longer to shave but I will use it until it breaks to avoid shaving irritation all the time.
