I like wearing jackets over thinner tops as I think they look so much more polished than without them. I don't always want the constricting-feeling of a lined jacket, so something like this is perfect! I really is just a cardigan sweater, but the style and shape of it are like a jacket. So you get the more tailored-look of a blazer, but the comfort of a sweater. I love it!I got the black and white one which is one of my favorite combinations. I really wish the whiter (I think it is called apricot) one had black trim. I have so many black items. I know I chose them, but the go with so many things. I don't wear a lot of brown or gray so I ended up picking the black again. If the whiter one had black trim, I would have really liked that. Or purple anything (I like purple and don't see it enough! lol!)I got the size "L" which is my typical size. I am 5'8" about 175 and this fit me well. I don't like them too form-fitting as I wear them more as a jacket than a stand-alone item. I do not like the buttons. I have a thing for buttons, I think as I often change them. I don't know why. It just seems that a cheap button can make a non-descript item look cheap. And when you change just that one thing, the whole garment looks higher-end. These aren't terrible. At least they aren't just matching plastic ones. But they have an antique-brassy color to them. I don't like the way they look with silver jewelry. Still, there are 5 on the front and 4 on each cuff.that is a lot of buttons to replace! So I will probably leave them. I could have done without any on the cuffs actually, but the style of the cuff piping is for buttons.Overall I do like it. I wore the same day it arrived! As soon as I opened the package, I put it on with jeans and a black scoop neck top to wear out to a casual dinner.
