Most Oculus compatible cables only go up to 16ft / 5m including the official cable. When I saw the built in amplifier being used to extend the distance to 20 feet by running an Oculus USB test on this cable I got mixed results. On first boot I get a consistent 750 Mbps and an indication that it's too slow. So I run it again and it's 1.2 and it's fine. And I run it again and it's 1.7 or 1.8 Gbps which is even better. This is quite common and doesn't seem uncommon with other cables. So don't give up if it doesn't work the first time - try a different port or just repeat the test. zigzag pattern. I prefer coiled cords, so I'll try to retrain this cord's memory to be less prone to kinks or breaks at such sharp angles.
