The cables have the same ends. When I connected the drone controller to my phone for the first time, my phone did not connect to the aircraft via the DJ Fly app. After several attempts to turn the drone and controller on and off, it still didn't work. Finally, I decided to swap the ends of the cable between the controller and my phone, after which the Fly application connected. The next time I connected my phone to the controller it stopped working until I swapped the ends of the cable again. So if your phone won't connect to the drone, I suggest swapping the ends of the cable.
