This worked well on my dogs. I bought a large one for my Siberian Husky 50# and it fits her perfectly. I bought a medium for my Blue Healer 30#. The wings are made of thick felt material. In terms of strength, anything too stiff is dangerous to pets and humans, so I think the choice of material is wise. I warn you that fabric attracts hair. So if this is a problem for you, this product is not for you. I don't really care because I have a husky that sheds all the time so it doesn't bother me. She's pretty picky and yet she wore the suit comfortably all night without tantrums. She didn't look as cool as Pit in the photo, but she's still a husky. Spring. :-) My Blue Healer didn't even realize she was wearing a suit!
