Great PoE hat. It is very well thought out to take up as little space as possible. It's actually quite snug against the motherboard, allowing the fan to sit very snugly right above it. Case selection can be an issue due to the lack of margin for error. I chose Pi Tower because I plan to add more over time. This combination works. So if you think you need to build an army of Raspberry Pis in the near future, this is the path you should take. The PoE hat works well and is very comfortable. The only problem I've had is that for some reason I haven't quite figured it out yet. The moment I plug it in, it turns off any passive PoE devices I have plugged in offline. My switch is Ubiquiti UniFi Switch 24 POE-250W. The Pi only consumes 6.5W (PoE+) and the only other PoE device is the Ubiquiti AP, which requires passive PoE. I connected a PoE injector to the access point and everything is fine now. But I still wonder what's up with the Pi messing around with passive PoE. Just something to watch out for in case this situation might apply to you.
