My cat ate my external ethernet! I went to my field office and found NO internet. Not cool. I run 200 feet of ethernet from my house to the street and along the fence. It pops up in two places because I ran out of PVC and connectors. It's a pretty solid setup, so after checking out the internet on my own in the house, I started testing the line. As soon as I started crawling, Nellie pointed me to the right spot and quickly chewed on the exact spot of separation! But really. Damn Nelly! I was connecting to a low level connector locked in a zipped container, but then I found this. I don't think this connector isn't military standard, but it could very well be. It acts as a connector, so no perforations or raw wiring other than the cable ends. The freshly made ends go inside and the extended ends go around this cable. No included end termination required as with copper compression. Normal finish, tuck into middle sleeve, then slide on outer end, then slide on split compression elastic and DONE! So very simple and it feels heavy and waterproof. That's great!
